Who Is Tab Trade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal

TabTrade — What It Is

TabTrade went live in March 2026. Online broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.

That last detail matters. It suggests the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. But more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.

The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.

The instrument list: forex, indices, metals, commodities, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a platform that is a few months old, that range is broad.

Platforms

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both matters. You are not locked into one.

MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, automated trading, massive community. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform previously, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 once they try it.

Direct FIX connectivity is offered for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is said to be coming. That would round things out when it lands.

Costs

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your actual cost per trade can be below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade does not.

VIP. $25k to open. FIX API, faster fills, tailored rates. Not relevant to typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.

Execution Speed

This is where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers run hundreds of milliseconds.

Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you swing trade, you will not notice. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That is something about priorities.

Put together that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get makes sense. Few brokers in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.

Safety

This is the detail that matters. Tab Trade is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.

That said. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The execution setup is expensive. Dodgy operations do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. That does not guarantee anything. It should inform your assessment.

What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that makes sense comes down to your priorities.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade has bonus funds of up to $2,000. Standard welcome offer. You fund your account, the broker add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before you commit.
